This link is to my blog which focuses on contemporary art issues. It is designed to appeal to my undergraduate students at the College of Charleston, but anyone is welcome to post comments.

This is a link to a review of a film project by the artist Julie Green. I participated in this project, as one of the featured artists, on a recent trip to China. The film is a series of interviews with artists from China, Tibet, the Netherlands, and the United States. It has been screened in Oregon and in Nebraska to date.

This is a new blog about the history of workshop and studio practices. Also, it will feature posts related to craft treatises and early writings on aesthetics.
